Today I started to discover whangarei and its features!

In the morning I went to the whangarei falls.... So big!!! Amazing!

I hiked a track of 2 hours (one way) through the forest and I arrived in front of the falls.

It's the biggest "city waterfall" in nz... I mean there are some biggers but not so close to the town!

I positioned myself on the top of a rock just next to the waterfall and I had my lunch: sandwich with ham. Cool!

On the way to come back I found another track to arrive on the top of mount parihaka where there was an amazing view of all the region!

Just a small problem: the way to reach the lookout was so so so hard! Like thousands steps... But I didn't give up and all the efforts have been paid with a wonderful view!!

For tomorrow I have just some ideas about what I can do, but the plans can always change! I'll see tomorrow morning ;)
