I have been waiting for the end of this experience to update my blog. I arrived here the 1st of February and tomorrow (3rd of March) I'll leave this place. I'm not going to tell u how cool is this region (it is! Plenty of lakes, mountains, forests, rivers, geothermal park.. All is gorgeous!) ... By the way I'll tell u about the great people that I met here... Guys and girls that now I can call FRIENDS! That's probably the best point to travel.. Meet new people...

After spending 3 days in Coromandel i left it and i reached Tauranga (Mt Maunganui). I decided to stay in MT M. cos that's the beach side of Tauranga (that has just the harbour) and also speaking with some guys they told me that TaurangaCity is nothing special.. So go for MT M. !! : beach, surf, relax and party. As soon as i got there it seems to be in a "MiniCaliforniaCity"... just a long street with pubs, restaurants and shops all around, guys and girls weari...

26 of January: wake up early, say goodbye to my kiwi family and be ready (especially in the mind) for the LONG (400 and more km) towards coromandel peninsula. It's quiet sad think that I'll never see this family again, but this is part of the game: get a lot of experiences, have fun, meet people and move in another place.. Anyway at 9.30 I'm ready to go... I'll avoid the particulars of the journey (nothing special, just a lot of different landscapes and a blood...

WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE! i couldn't start this blog in another way. Today is the last day here in the farm and i already know that i'm going to miss this family and this place. It's hard to explain why, but i will try to do that.. there are a  lot of reason. 1) the family itself: they have been so warm, friendly and generous. Immediately the made me feel one of them. Emma and Jason (the parents) provided me all i needed and they cared about my necessities...

First free weekend = let's go to explore the far north! Wake up at 8am, have breakfast and i'm ready to go... first stage Doubtless bay. As soon as i start to drive i discover that the tank of the car is pretty empty... so i need petrol... i need a gas station.... but the nearest one is at doubtless bay... f***! So keeping cross my fingers i keep going to drive... but immediately another annoying issue: i have to drive for more than 10 km on an unpaved road......
