Today I definitely started my road trip.

In the beginning it seemed not so lucky... I mean: I woke up and it was raining!!! Cmon!!!

Fortunately after a couple of hours the rain stopped and I started to drive towards mangawhai!

I arrived there after few hours, because I drove slowly enjoying the view of several fabulous landscapes!

I found a lovely backpacker, very queit, tidy and comfortable... I completed the check in for just one night, left my backpack there and went towards the beach!

It was so nice, with a lot of dunes of sand all around the beach! And packed of people surfing (due to the great waves that u can find there).

I chilled out on the sand for just one hour and then I explored the "town center" where I found a market to buy some food for the dinner.

I also knew two guys from Switzerland that probably are going to have my same route... Maybe did I find new travel mates?? We'll see!

Tomorrow I will drive towards whangarei!!
