Stephen and Jo Planet Earth...
We arrived back in Koh Phangan qualified open water divers and needing some R & R. We headed for Hat Yao and to our suprise met some of our dive buddies (Alex, Helen, Raj, Harrissa, Tom and Sarah) it must be the place to be as half the class of '06 was there. Didn't do much the first few days except sun bathe, drink and eat BBQ's on the beach. Finally there were just 4 of us left and we decided to hire a jeep to go and see the waterfalls. 2 and half hours later (we got lost on the 1 road on the island an I (Stephen) wasn't navigating) we found a waterfall, but not the one we had originally been looking for. I use waterfall in the loosest sense of the word, it was more a trickle due to the lack of rain. We decided to head back, and it only took us 45 mins, weird!!! Luck was on our side though as we found The Eagle Bar at the end of the beach was selling Chicken & Mushroom Pie, Mash, Peas and Gravy - Pure Heaven after eating rice and noodles for 3 months. Our bungalow was nice but each night we had to contend with the "Frog Chorus" before we could sleep - I (Stephen) found 4-5 beers usually did the trick
