30 mins from Koh Samui by boat and we were in Koh Phangan. The boat jouney wasn't very exciting as we were asleep for it all - knocked out by our travel sickness pills. Our bungalow was 10ft from the beach, what a view. You can check out the photos when I put them on. Hat Salat was very much quieter than previous beach resorts, we were the only 2 left in the bar at 9pm on our 1st night. This lent itself to some quality chill out time, plenty of sun bathing and snorkelling. There were loads of fish and we even saw an eel - scary not !!! This really wet our appetite for the real thing and we decided that we would take our PADI open water certificate when we reach Koh Tao. Watched the Charity Shield in a Reggae Bar - great result !!!
