"One night in Bangkok and the tough guys tumble" Murray Head once said, we lasted 3 and we're still standing. We booked into our hotel on the famous Khao San Road right above McDonalds - Bonus. First stop Wat Phra Kaew & The Grand Palace, very beautiful, very busy especially to see the Emerald Buddha. Jo showed her lack of culture by insisting that we visit the Forensic Science Museum - she'd been watching too many episodes of CSI. Well I have never seen seen so many different bits of the human anatomy in glass jars. That was enough excitement for us for the next few days as we spent most of our time wandering the streets and markets - shopping and relaxing in the bars - drinking and watching movies. Although we enjoyed Bangkok there was a sense that everyone was just trying to rip us off.
