We stayed in Kroombert cattle station for only 1 night and half a day but what a wicked time we had. Basically your smack bang in the middle of the countryside, and your given a taster for life as a cowgirl .... right up my street. We arrived in the night so after something to eat we were giving a demonstation on how to break the sound barrier. Whip cracking. It looked really easy..but I still have the whip marks on me now to show its not that simple. However I was not going to give up and persevered until I cracked it...literally. After some whip cracking we were soon thrown into another task....riding a mechanical bull. I thought growing up in the horsey world that I should be a pro because I have had my fair share of tantrum throwing pony's..Lol. I didnt embarrass myself, but all im going to say is I should have stayed on for longer than I did. The next day we were due to get on the bus at 12pm, however just enough time for one more cringe worthy task...but great fun. The goat rodeo. We split into teams and are task was simple...catch the goat and pretend to brand him. Ha'ha'ha. Are goat looked sooo cute but I swear he was on something. After adopting the cowgirl role I jumped for the drugged up goat only do be dragged along (I did get a really cool war wound though so all worth it). If I recall are time for catching the goat and branding him was 51secs. Ok but not that great considering it was 3 against 1.
