Well we made it to Cairns the day after cyclone Larry. Luckily for us Cairns wasnt hit that bad but an hr south was totally destroyed. The weather in Cairns isn't that great rain, rain and, more rain. But the weather hasn't stopped us having heaps of fun!!! It was Sams birthday on the 23rd so we decided we had to do something pretty big. So we decided to jump out of a plane like every sane person does!!! Waiting at the airport for the weather to brighten up for 3hrs wasn't great for the nerves. However, crazy as it seems as soon as Sam and I got in the plane we went into fits of hysterics. Laughing the whole way up. The only time my stomach did do a couple of flips was when the instructor I was jumping with started to pray!!! It was incredible. Not scary at all, even the free fall was awesome. You jump into clouds so you feel like a care bear. Its definitely the best thing I have ever done. Im still on a high now. On the way back in the bus to the sky diving shop we ran out of petrol on Portsmouth rd. How ironic??? Just a reminder for those of you that have forgotten me already!! I went to uni in pompy and that's how I met Sam. Hope you enjoy the sky diving pics...!!.. No jokes I know I look like Gordon the gofer...Lol.
