We went to Harlem today to go to the Ephesus SDA Church for their divine service. It was pouring with rain and we got quite wet sharing our little umbrella on the walk to the subway and around Harlem.  The church was a large and beautiful old building and the people were welcoming. Today we took the free ferry to Staten Island to go past the iconic Statue of Liberty on the way. We didn't stay on Staten Island though (only to get off the ferry and get back on it again) as we had heard there was nothing to see. We caught a train to the Ground Zero memorial this morning. The memorial was really nice and seeing the names of the people that died was quite moving. Some of the names had white roses on them showing that it would have been their birthday today.
