Monday 14th January Time to check out to return back to Townsville for a night before moving onto Airlie Beach. Once we have checked out, we were told that the roads were closed towards Airlie Beach due to flooding. Sunday 13th January Early wake up call for our bush tucker brunch at 8am. We thanked for the lovely weather as we weren't sure if the breakfast buffet would still go ahead if the weather was still terrible! Saturday 12th January Bright and sunny which we were pleased for our day out! We were hoping to catch 10am guided tour but unfortunately we weren't ready by then so we had to wait till 12noon for the next tour. Friday 11th January We checked out fairly early as we had to catch our coach to Townsville at 9:15am. We arrived at the ferry terminal at 12.45pm, 30mins early than expected. Unfortunately we just missed our ferry to Magnestic Island by 2 mins! So we had to wait for another hour for the next boat at 2:15pm. Thursday 10th January We both got up in good time to make our way to Mission Beach. Unfortunately we missed the shuttle bus by 15mins and had to wait for another hour for the next one!
