Thursday 10th January

We both got up in good time to make our way to Mission Beach. Unfortunately we missed the shuttle bus by 15mins and had to wait for another hour for the next one! So we didn't arrive till around noon.

Unfortunately we couldnt do much once we got there as the beach was very messy. No spot to do sunbathe so we decided to not to bother. It was proably a good thing as it was too humid so it wasn't comfortable to enjoy the sun.

Before we caught the bus back to our hostel, we decided to have a quick look around in the town, there wasn't much so our visit was very short at the Mission Beach.

Once we returned back, we made our way to the information Centre to book our next greyhound stop for the next day. It was to Townsville for Magnetic Island. We booked the package deal which was as following: 2 nights at YHA BUngalow Bay, Entrance to Koala Park and 2 souvenir photos while holding a koala.

Once that was sorted, we made our way back to the hostel for a swim in the pool till the weather cooled down!

In the evening, we just repacked our stuff together again, ready for our check out tomorrow.
