Saturday 19th January The ship started to move at 6.30am. The staff woke us up at 7.15am for our breakfast. So far so good that Daniel didn't feel any seasickness! The ship took us to Whitsunday Island for Whitehaven beach. We were told to wear stinger suit to avoid of getting stung by jellyfishes. After seeing so many jellyfishes, it dented our confidence to swim in the sea! So we decided to chill out on the beach, instead of swimming/messing about in the sea. ...

Friday 18th January Checked out of our room. We were able to leave our main rucksack in the storage room for free. Our departure for sailing wasn't till 4pm so we had a day to do what we wanted. We wandered around but it was very humid so we returned back to the hostel and waited around till 12noon to check in for our sailing adventure. Thursday 17th January Obviously we have checked out and have been told that the buses are definately on! We were pleased that we were finally getting out and do something for a change, rather being stuck! We made our way to the Greyhound terminal and waited for the coach to turn up at 10.45am. Wednesday 16th January We have checked out (again for 3rd time) and the receptionist told us that the buses are still cancelled so we have booked another night with them again. Tuesday 15th January We checked out, hoping that we could still go to Airlie Beach. Unfortunately the reception told us that the roads were still closed. All buses and flights have been cancelled.
