Sunday 13th January
Early wake up call for our bush tucker brunch at 8am. We thanked for the lovely weather as we weren't sure if the breakfast buffet would still go ahead if the weather was still terrible!
Once we arrived at Koala Park, we were shown to the restaurant and then been given a guana champagne to drink. They were nice. There were few animals display which we have seen on the previous day. We went ahead to have buffet breakfast which was very filling! We ensure that we made the most of it to see us through the day! The guides then showed few animals around which we have already seen as usual!
There was another photo opportunity with Koalas which we both did again. This time, it was a female koala. In the photos, it was including both of us with a koala in one photo. With this koala, we got to do bit of cuddling and stroking. While stroking, it felt almost the same as Lisa's dog, Safie! We were pleased with it this time. We both also found this koala more cuter!
We had another opportunity to hold the parrot-like again whom were very noisy and seems to be loving attention from children who were messing about with it!
Once that was over which was at 10.30am, we made our way back to the hostel and went swimming again. Just a chill out day for us. Unfortunately the weather wasn't nice again, it was raining while we were swimming!
Once we had enough, Daniel made his way to the reception to book the hostel in Townsville tomorrow for one night before moving onto the next stop, Airlie Beach.
In the evening, we packed our stuff together again. It's getting tiring of doing it over and over again!
