Wednesday 16th January

We have checked out (again for 3rd time) and the receptionist told us that the buses are still cancelled so we have booked another night with them again. It was getting annoying cos we were bored in Townsville and we just wanted to get to Airlie Beach! We then went to the Greyhound Terminal to change our booking for the next day. We were then told that the buses could possibly turn up. We were annoyed as it was still too late to see if we could still go ahead due to us booking into the hostel for another night already. So we thought that it would save us hassles to not to bother to see if the buses would turn up as we didn't want to waste our money on the hostel.
The weather did improve alot as it was hot and bright so we were hoping that Airlie Beach would be the same by the time we get there.

We just practically wandered around the town, trying to think what to do for the day. We eventually thought it would be a good idea to visit the beach and chilled out, making the most of the weather again.
Wandered around, thinking what to do. We swam in the sea, though only in the enclosure to keep the jellyfishes out.

We returned back to the hostel, repacked everything, hoping that the buses will be going THIS time! We had an early night, possibly after checking out early every morning, it wore us out!
