Tuesday 15th January

We checked out, hoping that we could still go to Airlie Beach. Unfortunately the reception told us that the roads were still closed. All buses and flights have been cancelled. So we checked back in again for another night unfortunately! The rain was still coming down very hard. We were hoping that Townsville won't be the next place to be flooded as we didn't want to be stranded!

We popped into the town to visit the information centre to change our booking for our coach for the next day, hoping that it will get to go to Airlie Beach this time!

We returned back to the supermarket and grabbed few bargains for our dinners. The rain finally eased up, the sun was coming out so we were praying that the buses will be still on for the next day. We didn't do anything in the afternoon, just chilled out in our room. Lisa was having a nap while Daniel was watching TV. Eventually in early evening, we finally saw Neighbours but unfortunately no subtitles were available. So we haven't got a clue what was going on in that show. All new characters and old characters dissappeared!

We hired the dvds again and watched it for the evening.
