Sunday 30th Dec

We were finding it impossible to get up in good time, no thanks to very thick curtains in our room as well as having a wall for our views, it got us confused by thinking that it was still dark! As we got up late, we thought to speed ourselves quickly and went to the supermarket to do bit of more food shopping for our preparation for the new year eve celebrations. We were told that in the area where we will be viewing, there aren't any shops or cafes to buy few things so we thought that we should top up few things that we needed!

After doing food shopping and dumping stuff back at the hostel, we prepared for another sunbathing session on the beach and relaxed. Daniel was dissapointed that he can't get to swim in the sea cos there was a big sign in front of the sea saying that it was closed due to the dangerous waves happening. We couldnt believe our eyes at the sight of the big waves at the close distance! There were few people attempting to swim through the big waves! We thought they were crazy!

After a couple of hours sunbathing, listening to our ipods and reading our books, we had enough and thought it was about time to cook dinners. Once we had filled our stomaches up, we started cooking few things to prepare for tomorrow's long day in Sydney!

Once that was all sorted, Lisa started writing up the diary as we were getting behind by nearly a week! We also borrowed another dvd called Superman Returns which we will be watching after uploading the photos and updating the blog!
