Sunday 2nd March

On that day, we went to the markets that they have on every sundays. They sells all sorts such as crafts, art, fruits/vegs etc. After buying a couple of things, we made our way back to the hostel, in preparation to clean up the mess after the lunch-hour rush. We bumped into the owners who asked us if we had any plans for the rest of the day. We obviously didn't have anything planned seeing that we have done practically everything to be ticked off the list for Coffs Harbour. They needed volunteers to attend to the "Clean Up" Beach Day which we were more than happy to help. It was something for us to do! So there were a group of us, awaiting for the lift to the beach which we made the start of clearing up the rubbish on the beach. That only took us a couple of hours. In return for giving our time, they gave the bbq for free which we made the most of it! So we can say that we have done something good for the day, giving our time to save the environment! Then it was back to our routine unfortunately!
