off to the zoo TODAY!!! im so excited that ive been up and showered since 6 am haha. such a loser! cant wait to tell you guys all about it later............................................

OMG! i have had the best day ever! the zoo was amazing!! i held a koala and had my picture taken! got to stroke kangaroos and wallabies, saw elephants, tigers, pandas, birds, lizards, fantastic! It was also Steve Irwins son (robert)'s 8th birthday today meaning that there were lots of extra freebies around and people all dressed as dinosaurs as they are his favourite. and we also got free birthday cake!

Terri, Bindi, Roebert AND father christmas did the crocodile show in the 'CROCOSEUM'- aptly named by steve because there are cros in there and you can see em! lol the show was brilliant though, all a little bit false and corny but still a good laugh! theres lots of memorials around the park for steve, some of which are quite sad really, and you could tell that there was a big part of the family missing when they all stood there together, but i guess after 5 years they must have adjusted noww, still sad though.

the start of the day was just right, nice and warm but a few clouds to stop us getting burnt, however... the afternoon was hurrendous! the heavens opened and no joke- monsoon rain! for 3 HOURS!! non stop! there were 1/2 ft puddles of water in about 30mins lol crazy! everyone was saturated then the thunder and lightening had a go too! it was crap really but also really fascinating to watch as it all happened so quickly! but thank goodness...or "thank mum" in my case for emergency ponchos! never again will i take the pee out of you! lol

got back to the hostel at about 5, so went and cooked our dinner..noodles again lol and went on the internet for a bit (the things i do for u lot ay ;) ) lol then rebecca and christine messaged me and we met them for a bit then went to coles (supermarket) to get some food bits for tomoro, then we met them in their hostel (nomads) for some cheap drinks, it was sooo nice to hear some good music in there too, god so i wish i had brought my ipod now! aussies r so behind with chart songs! stayed in the bar til about 12 then walked back. once at the hostel we got talking to the girl in our dorm (kate from dublin) and by the time we finished chatting it was 1.30am. tim efor bed! brisbane tomorow to hopefuly stay with Jonnys Bosses Friend>>confusing! but should be good as could really do with saving some pennies right now!
