Arrived in San Fransisco on the 5th June at around lunch time and went straight to Fishermans Wharf...which was mega busy with tourists. We wandered around, had some lunch and went to watch the smelly sea lions at the end of pier 39...they were very very very smelly. We then walked up one of the massive steep hills to the crookedest street which does what it says on the tin...its got something like 10 turns in it to help cars get down it as it is so steep. 6th June - today we walked along the front of the bay and took some pics of the Golden Gate Bridge. We then took one of the old cable cars (the ones you see in the films) to downtown. Had lunch downtown in Union Square and wandered around in the sunshine. Had dinner at Mels Drive In Diner. 7th June - Spent some more time downtown and then in the evening we drove over to Sausalito. To get there we had to drive over the Golden Gate Bridge, stopped off at some vista points on the way. Had a great meal in Sausalito which has great views over San Fransisco Bay. We watched the sun set and then went back to the hotel.
