Day 20 of the Trek America Tour....We arrived in Victoria today which is supposed to be a very English city. We had a couple of hours to walk around. There were loads of fake bears painted with loads of different designs. And darth vader was playing the violin in the street (which was a bit bizarre). We spent a lot of time just sitting on the harbour drinking coffee. Its our last night of the trek tonight so Matt is cooking fish for Dinner.

Day 19 of the Trek America Tour...some of the group went hiking today - we decided to take it easy and walked around the botanical garderns which were fab. There were loads of unusual sculptures on the way round. We had lunch there which was amazing as it was made out of natural and organic ingredients. Day 17/18 of the Trek America Tour...We left Vancouver yesterday and got the ferry to Vancouver Island and then drove to Tofino which is on the West of the Island. Our campsite is on a beach, and the beach is fab. Today we went whale watching. We all had to put on red boiler suits and yellow rain coats and get on a boat - well we say a boat but it was a rubber ring with seats in it.. Day 15/16 of the Trek America Tour...We drove to Vancouver today - we are staying in a hostel for two nights, which is luxury for us. Vancouver is a great city we have wandered around town, been to some dodgy hip hop club, walked to Stanley Park (which is beautiful), went to the aquarium, did loads of people watching, and tried to have drinks up the tower at night (but they had called last orders). We could have spent at least another two or three days ...

Day 14 of the Trek America Trip....We drove to Whistler yesterday and pitched our tents on the Thompson River...the sound of the water rushing past is amazing. Jim went snowboarding with Darren and Kim today and some of the rest of the group went skiing. And had a brilliant day. Sim decided to have a chillout day and have a wander into town with some of the girls. On the way the girls stumbled across a black bear!!! It was less than 3 metres away....
