Day twelve of the Trek America Tour....We were allowed a lie in today, had a leisurely breakfast lakeside and then packed up to paddle back. On the way we stopped at Eagle View for a 20 minute walk. The guides forget to tell us that the walk was up a cliff. It was so steep Sim almost gave up, but eventually she made it to the top. The view was spectacular...you could see for miles down the lake. We eventually paddled back to the van and then drove to the campsite which was on a ranch. On the way back we saw another black bear....just amazing to see them in the wild. We both went horseriding which was really good. The guide was telling us about the wildlife and showing us the claw marks on trees from where the bears have climbed up them. We had a choice to stay in a bunk house tonight and we chose to pitch the tent - what is wrong with us???
