Day 14 of the Trek America Trip....We drove to Whistler yesterday and pitched our tents on the Thompson River...the sound of the water rushing past is amazing. Jim went snowboarding with Darren and Kim today and some of the rest of the group went skiing. And had a brilliant day. Sim decided to have a chillout day and have a wander into town with some of the girls. On the way the girls stumbled across a black bear!!! It was less than 3 metres away. We calmly crossed the road and warned other people that it was there... How scary though.... Sim went to the driving range and hit a few balls around....badly and then had a wander around town.
