We are headed for Port Hedland, the countryside is very flat you can see for miles, we passed a group of termite hills about 60 of them had hard hats on. Filled up with fuel and shopping then said goodby to Joy they are going to Karijini national park we decided to stay on the coast. We went over to the port found a nice spot near the water and had lunch while watching 4 tug boats bring in an iron ore ship to be filled. Also saw trains being unloaded they had 124 carriages. The ships have 30hrs turn around time ,they hold 200.000.00 ton of ore . There are 26 trains a day bringing in ore from the mine sites its a huge place with building going on everywhere. Headed down the road stopped at Sherlock River rest area for the night it was nice right on the river, talked to some fellow campers had some drinks. There was a letter box on the fence when I looked in it there were notes from people who have stayed here thanking the people who own the property.
