Today we are heading for Kununurra we plan to stop at Gurrandaling Campground Keep River National Park, we fuled up at Katherin then headed out on the Victorian Highway,there are mountains all around us Moray Ranges very pretty a lot of the hills look like they have been terraced. Today we drove into the Darwin Museum we both feel its one of the best museums we have ever been in. There display cabinets were well documented all the animals are well presented, the history of the top end and the cyclone that hit Darwin, also the bombing. There was some lovely art work and a lot of hands on stuff for kids we spent a couple of hours in there. Today we drove out to the Adelaid River to see the jumping crocks we were too early so we went into the Wetlands museum its run by the indiginist people and was very well set out ,all the different birds , snakes, and other wildelife. On the way to the boat there was a dam with brolgers ducks swans buffalo and lots of water lillies,very pretty. Today we are driving down to Litchfield Park. On the way we pass lots of W.W.2. air fields they just look like side roads but they are original air fields. We stopped at a field of termite hills it just looked like a grave yard full of headstones there were also 3 mtre high ones that we had our photo taken in front of. We drove on to Florence Pool we had to walk down 100 steps to get to it but it was worth it we had a lovely swim then we had to walk back up 100 s...

Drove into Darwin this morning went down to the warf there were lots of photoes of the bombing of Darwin the first bomb hit exactly where the warf is today. We had lunch on the warf barra and prawns and a beer. After lunch we went into the centre of Darwin and went for a walk in the mall not very impressed with the city. Drove around the esplanard then headed back to Humpty Doo.
