Lazy day today, worked on my blog and just relaxed. Watched a movie then went for a swim we are right next to the pool. Entertained a couple that John has made friends with had tea then went to try our luck seeing the staircase to the moon , the cloud was there again tonight it was better last night.

This morning John ,Joy ,Ella and I went into town to the markets had a look around got some information on a flight to the top of Australia then stopped at mackers for a drink , back to van. John and I went to the airport and booked to do a flight which goes over the horozontal falls up to Cape Leveque fly over the Archipelago see a pearl farm go out on a boat to see the king tides and they serve brecky and lunch. This morning we walked into Winjana Gorge ,saw some fossils in the rock face ,saw lots of crocks in the water one was sunning itself on the bank. There were 2 huge cranes just wandering along the waters edge and we saw another rock wallaby. The Gorge wasnt as spectacular as some of the others have been. We went for a 1hr. boat ride into Geikie Gorge saw four crocks they are in their breading season so its rare to see them ,there are app. 280 in the river. We watched a sea eagle trying to catch a bat for his dinner they are realy quick. The rock formation was spectacular the white mark on the rock is where the water comes to in the wet season and the erosion from the sand being swept down the river was realy honeycombed it was amazing. Heading for Fitzroy Crossing today, passed millions of termite mounds all shapes and sizes. Fueled up at Halls Creek lots of indigenous people sitting around the parks. There are mountains around us again, stopped at Ngumpan Cliff Lookout for lunch lovely views into the valey.
