Santa Barbara was just what we needed. We arrived in at 7pm last night and just crashed at our hotel. We drove along the coast to get to it and could see the ocean from the balcony but it was dark and a bit cool so we didn't head out.

This morning....beautiful,magnificent, magical....it's gorgeous!! It was really warm (and wishing I had shorts) so Emma and I took a stroll along the beach. It was wonderful although cut way too short as we had to check out at 11am. We checked our bags in at the train station and then headed to Sterns Wharf for some food and a bit of shopping before getting back to the train station in time for the train at 2pm! Next stop is San Diego!
