Today, after getting the good news from IHG, I've booked a 2-night stay at the VERY cheap Holiday Inn Express Luton Airport. It's a very basic hotel, but since its rate qualifies for the mattress run - I'm all set. :)

Well, after deciding to take this short mattress run, I booked the semi-cheap tickets less than 2 weeks in advanced, and I'm all set. :) Now, all I have to do is wait for IHG's reply if the discounted rates are regarded as a qualifying rate... .

After a long day of flights - LIS-ZRH-CDG-TLV, 3 plane meals and 3 time zones, we finally landed back home at 5:30, arrived home at 6:30, sorted our stuff out and at 8:00 headed to the supermarket. At around 10:00, we finally collapsed and closed our eyes for a good sleep. :) Thus ends our adventure in Spain and Portugal. Shabat shalom, everyone. :)

WOW, what a day! Got to a late and lazy start, woke up at 9:30, had breakfast, checked out at 12:30 and headed to Lisbon airport. Took our first flight from Lisbon to Zurich with Swiss. They had amazing service and very nice leg room. Zurich airport was very disappointing - while it was lovely, it was VERY expensive (as can be expected), but there were no special Swiss choclates there, too. Woke up to a rainy day in Lisbon, plus Ami was sick, so we cancelled our plans for Sintra, and rested at the hotel instead, plus moved rooms. :-) I then went alone to the Portugese national tiles museum, which was very hard to find, but was nice. We then lounged a bit and went to the biggest mall in the Iberian peninsula, where we are now having dinner. Tomorrow marks the end of our trip, as we go back to Tel Aviv via Zurich and Paris, secretly hoping for over bo...
