This afternoon we went to southern Tel Aviv, to El Al's offices, in order to get tickets using a compansation voucher we had. Although the tickets are not that expensive (after all, it's a 2.5 hours long flight), it's a bummer we did not manage to catch the El Al's sale for tickets at half the price of points. Still, we've got tickets! :)

I woke up at 6:15, had a short shower, had a quick bite to eat, checked out and walked to the airport. After a short (and hilarious) "breakfast" at the hotel, I walked to the airport and took the bus to Golders Green, where my sister picked me up. After an uneventful flight (with a baaaaa seat, thanks to EasyJet), I've landed in Luton airport and took forever to clear immigration and get my suitcase. i then walked apx. 10 minutes the my hotel at the airport. Well, after getting those tickets and booking the hotel about a week ago, all that is left to do is wait for tomorrow to arrive. :) The weather in London will be freezing, so I am well prepared for it, I hope. While the idea of going on this short weekend break all alone isn't the happiest thought - I'm very glad to be able to meet my sister, brother-in-law, niece and nephew. Plus - the 100K IHG Rewards points is a nice bonus. :)
