What a day! We managed to squeeze so much into it, it was amazing. As we got the MadridCard, we managed to visit 5 museums, 2 parks and do some long city walks. While not all museums were to our likings, we did enjoy the exprience as a whole, modern, ultra modern and classic art. When we finished the day, we were too exhausted to even move, so we got some room service. Lazy us... . :-)

Our trip started a bit bumpy when our flight was delayed for an hour due to a sick passenger. We arrived to Madrid after an ok flight, spent almost an hour at the airport and headed to the hotel by taxi. Check in was a breeze. We were upgraded twice to a Junior suite. The room was lovely and the Club was great. We spent the entire day in Old Madrid and especially enjoyed Palacio Real. In the evening, we went for a late dinner and waited for the Metro for ages. It...

Well, both of us have a slight cold, we're both dead tired, but who cares - in a couple of hours we're off to our new adventure in Spain and Portugal. :))) Yay!!!

Well, almost everything is ready - the itineraries have long been planned, the flights and hotels have already been booked (and re-confirmed) and now all that remains is to get the MadridCard, ToledoCard and other attraction-related cards. Let's hope for some great weather in this trip and a lot of fun itineraries. :)

Our short trip to Spain and Portugal is still almost a month ahead of us, but I've already finished booking the flights, hotels and planning the itineraries. :) Last September, we enjoyed Barcelona very much, and we hope to enjoy Madrid and Toledo as well.
