As I was packing towards our long weekend in bucharest, I suddenly realized I had no clothes designed for this kind of weather (up to -10 degrees Centigrade), so I went and bought a couple of long underpants to keep us warm in the snow. :) It's been a very stormy week in bucharest, according to news reports, but the storm is expected to be gone by the time we arrive on Friday. Let's keep our fingers crossed. :)))

Today I looked at the forecast for Bucharest and realized it's going to be even colder than I thought. Oh well, so no t-shirts this time. ;) Gotta buy gloves this weekend... .

Today we got and email (and phonecall) from the airline, that our flight will leave an hour and 15 minutes earlier than expected. Darn it, there goes my beauty sleep. :) Plus - i had to cancel the reservation for the airport transfer, as it will not be available when we land in Bucharest. I guess we'll take our chances with a taxi. :)

Today I finally finished to research and plan all the itineraries for the trip. It seems that Bucharest is completely mapped in Google Street View + 3D models, so this was so much fun!!! :)

Today I completed the two reservations for the hotel's we're staying at. The reservations went very smoothly (using points and a voucher), plus I've reserved an airport transfer to the hotel, as the Bucharest airport taxis are notorious for making tourists pay overpriced rates.
