Had a lazy breakfast and decided not to go out after it, as we pretty much finished all that we've planned for Athens. So instead, we rested before taking a shuttle to Syntagma square and from there - straight to the airport by Metro. After a ridiculously short flight (1 hour and 45 minutes), we landed back home, safe and sound. Thus ends our long weekend in Athens.

Today, we managed to squeeze more out of Athens - churches, squares, the Roman Agora, Zeus' temple, president's palace, two malls and that's about it. As we managed to see everything there is to see in the city, tomorrow we'll stay in until checking out at noon and heading to the airport.

We started off the day with a visit to the lovely Keramikos cematary, then continued to the gorgeous Agora ruins, Hadrian's library, Roman Agora and started to long walk up the Acropolis. After a lovely visit there, we visited the ruins of Odiysus theater and saw the Acropolis museum shop. Back to the hotel for some pre-dinner snacks, dinner and then we went out for dinner.

After a decent night sleep we woke up to the view of the Acropolis and had an ok breakfast at the Club. We then went to see an ancient 11th century church, the history museum, the Jewish museum, the war museum and the Benaki museum. That's a lot of museums. :-) In the evening, we went out for a nice dinner. All in all, a fine day. Tomorrow we're off to the Acropolis.

We took an early flight, landed in Athens, took a Metro to town where we waited forever for the hotel's shuttle to pick us up. It did not and after an hour, we took a taxi tto the hotel. We got a VIP check in and were upgraded to a beautiful deluxe suite with Acropolis view.
