In order to minimize the costs, I had to buy one-way tickets from two airlines - one for the flight to Athens and one for the flight back home. While the tickets weren't as cheap as they were 2 weeks ago, it's still a decent price, plus - we'll get some points for the flights on both airlines. :)

I was lucky enough to secure a gorgeous Club Suite with Acropolis view for our stay at the hotel. While the weather would probably be iffy and the hotel a good 20-minute walk from the city center - we're hopeful the stay would be enjoyable. :)

Well, we still don't have hotel reservations, nor flights, but I'm already on to planning detailed itineraries for Athens, for 5 days in mid December. Yay! :)

After a decent KIX-ICN flight and a rather long and bumpy ICN-TLV flight, we arrived home safe and sound, having enjoyed our 2nd trip to Japan immensely! :)

We've had a great time today - took trains and ferries to the far away island of Miyajima, and visited the island with its shrines, deer, ropeway to the mountain peak - absolutely great. Thus ends our journey and tomorrow we're off home.
