Today we took 4 trains and a ferry to reach Tadamounicho, also called "Rabbit island" due to its thousands of wild rabbit who roam free in the island.What can I say - it was magical and highly recommended to be included in any trip to Japan. :-)

Today we took a noon train to Nara, to be able to experience the wild deer there again. While the deer have already changed into their winter fur (which look less nice than their summer fur) and the male deer have had their horns cut (hormones, you know...), the experience was absolutely superb and everyone who visit Japan must get to Nara. We had a fun day today, as the typhoon was gone over the night.We took a train to Kobe, where we visited famous waterfalls, which were a great sight in this urban environment.From there, we continued to Imeji and took a look at the town's famous castle.Tomorrow, we're going back to Nara, to visit tbe deers. Yay!!! :-)

Well, not much has happened today. After a nice breakfast, I took a walk in a small park by the hotel. We later took the Shinkansen to Osaka, but got of after 10 minutes, as there were no seats available for the 3-hour journey. We then got on one of the next trains in Yokohama, and reached Osaka in less than 2.5 hours. We got to the hotel and received a Royal welcome. We were upgraded to a gorgeous Comfort Suite with parquet floors and views to die for on the 38t...

We had a great last day in Tokyo. We started it with a long walk in the old part of town, moved to a new part of town to see the Toyota showcase, and ended the day with a superb visit to the light festival. That's a great way to fare Tokyo well. Tomorrow, we're off to Osaka, to do some typhoon hunting. :-)
