This would be our first destination outside Christchurch. We'd be spending two nights there, on the shores of the picturesque Tekapo lake.

As we'd be stopping in Hong Kong for just over a day, we used points to get an awesome hotel in the city (and get upgrades, of course). :)

So glad I managed to book this hotel in the smelliest town in New Zealand - for points! :)

After sorting out all the vacation stuff at work, we started buying tickets to get us to New Zealand. Today we booked the TLV-HKG business tickets (using points and some cash) and the BKK-TLV business tickets, too. We then proceeded to buy the HKG-NAN-AKL-CHC business tickets, which will allow us a short stopover at Fiji. Yay! :) Last but not least, AKL-SIN-BKK will start our journey back home, again, on business class. :) Hurray!!! :)

WOW!!! i still cannot believe this will eventually happen. We were supposed to plan a trip to Asia, again, but decided to divert to New Zealand before we're too old to enjoy it. :) Now, all I have to do is start to plan our trip and ask my boss for some time off... .
