I managed to get a great deal for an awesome hotel at this thrilling town. Let's hope the weather smiles at us during the two nights we spend here.

We'd be spending a night at this fine hotel, en route from the central region os the south island, through the east coast, down through the Catlins to the most southern point of the south island.Later on our trip, we'd go up to the stunning Franz Josef Glacier, and we're booked for a night by the glacier.

We'd be spending a night in Wanaka before returning to the east coast of New Zealand. This is another solid hotel in a nice location.

This will probably be our best hotel in New Zealand, and thanks to an Ambassador certificate, we'd be getting a free night for our paid night and an upgrade to a Club room 9including the gorgeous Club lounge access).

We're staying in Christchurch for two days and it was important that the hotel is central. We used a combination of points and cash for this hotel. Apx. a week into our trip, we'd be staying in the southern most point of the south island, so a lovely hotel was booked there as well. And then there's the lovely lake of Te Anau, where we'd be spending two nights, making star trips in the region.
