As we drive through the countryside, everywhere is green. Lots of forestry and it's strange that many of the trees are wild tree ferns, so it seems as if you are driving through a botanical garden. It's spring here and the cherry blossom is out, foxgloves are on the roadside and an extraordinary amount of cattle, who seem to have given birth to an extraordinary number of young. They have been separated into a different field from the older cows. Not seen that many sheep yet, maybe they are all on the South Island. So it's like a May morning the sun is out, then it's raining, the temperature goes from 11- 24 degrees all is beautiful. Then you walk into the hotel and .....they are decorating the Christmas trees

The Butcher Separating the young cows from the old - reminds me of Friday night at the Bradbury club. Anyway, wish them well - look forward to seeing them in Smithfield Market soon
