Tuesday 18th October - Left Hurricane in Utah, now going to do a 2 week loop of California ending up in Las Vegas on Halloween. Had our first look at Las Vegas as we drove past but didn't stop as we'll be back on the 31st. Carried on past the bottom of Death Valley were the temperature outside the car was 85 degrees.

Turned off the Intersate at Barstow and drove along Route 66 for around 2 miles, its only took us 2 weeks to find it :-)

Staying in Mojave tonight apparently Shape Ship One and Voyager were built here, but theres not a lot happening here now.

Leaving tomorrow and heading for the beaches in California nad Laguna Seca Racetrack.
