Went to Kings Canyon walking again today, it was our last day walking before heading to Las Vegas tomorrow so we had abandoned hope of seeing a bear, then today we saw two. The first was just in the woods as we drove into Cedar Grove, we stopped the car and it came to within 6 feet of the car, then just turned around and went back into the woods, the second was while we were walking on the trail, it was in a tree just in front of us, we stopped and it came down ...

We went to the Sequoia National Park today to see General Sherman, the largest (most mass) tree in the world. Went on a few of the walks that were in the park after the hikes in Yosemite they were really easy and relatively flat. Dai did a handstand and a one handed handstand as requested by Jace, take a look at the video to get a clue to how he did it :-)

Went onto Kings Canyon today, home of the second largest tree in the world, General Grant. You aren't allowed to go next to General Grant as its all fenced off. We were advised of some walks by the ranger in the visitor centre but when we tried to find them we ended up going about a mile down a dirt track before Dai started to panic about getting the car back up so we turned around and never did find the trails, not that I was that bothered as it meant my legs ...
