Tuesday 25th October - Slept really well in our tent cabin that resembled the Alcatraz cell. Went walking in Yosemite National Park today, this is an amazing place, everybody should come see it at least once. We walked up to Vernon Falls and then Nevada Falls, a round trip of around 10 miles. I could go on all day about how amazing the scenery is but you have to come see it to get the scale of it. Monday 24th October - Leaving San Francisco today but before we left we visited Alcatraz Island. Was freezing on the way over on the ferry as there was a really cold wind. Alcatraz was very interesting, had a tour guide tell us all about the people who have tried to escape, then had an audio tour of the prison itself.
