New location, I'm now in Taupo. I didn't post an entry yesterday as I didn't really get up to much exciting, or today for that matter. All I done today was have my first maccy d's of the trip and took another walk down to huka falls. At the moment I am walking back into town after a trip to a name unpronounceable forest, listening to a cover of breaking the law by fightstar. The gift shop is called redwood so I will just call it redwood forest. This morning I booked my coach to taupo where I'll be doing a bit of White water rafting and be using it as a base to do the tonogario crossing. And I also had some fish and chips for £4 bargain. Some high speed racing today. I went to the skyline. I went up on a gondola to the top of a hill and done 5 luge runs down going back up on a chairlift after each run. The starting run was the scenic route, then an intermediate track and a advanced track. The intermediate one was where it strarted to get really fun, going up on two wheels on more than one occasion. A morning of travel, a 4 hour coach journey which started off with boring views leaving the city and when they finally started to get better I started to fall asleep. And I had a guy falling asleep next to me who kept falling on me. Rotorua is an interesting town, once I got settled in to my new hostel I done a bit of exploring. A day on waiheke island was my plan. Got up bright and early to catch the 9.00 ferry from Auckland. When I got there I made use of the free Internet at the library to book my transport to rotura and my accommodation. Then had a look round the little village before going on some walking trails.
