My last full day in new Zealand. I spent the past couple of days back in Auckland, and got my very own private room with tv woop. Not done anything in auckland other than relax and watch movies. Japan tomorrow yay!!!

Got to Wanaka today at 2.30 after a 6 hour coach journey. Wanaka town is one end of lake Wanaka which is a 50km lake. The hostel I'm staying at, the purple cow, is one of the best ones so far. My first job when I got here was to get a ticket for the social network at cinema paridiso, than I went off to see if I could spot any dolphins in the lake and I saw sod all. Woop woop my longest lay in this morning. I got up at 10.30. Was much needed but it meant I didn't get to return and do one of the other glacier hikes. Franz Josef is crazy, it took 3 hours to get here and it's just surrounded by like rainforest type fauna. It's stunning, most surreal location a hostel has been in so far. I just walk out the front door to be confronted by a massive cliff covered in trees. As soon as I got here I walked to the Franz Josef glacier the main tourist attraction.
