My first and last day in Wellington has come to an end. I arrived yesterday at 8.30. So just found my hostel and went to sleep . It's an improvement over the last one and is just like student accommodation.

The national museum is in Wellington, called te papa. It's huge, 5 floors filled with different types of exhibits. The highlight for me was definitely seeing the giant squid specimen. There was nature, natural disaster, Maori, art, pottery and just about any other exhibit you can think of. The best part about the museum is it was free.

I went to another FREE museum but it wasn't much cop and had a look around the city. It's much nicer than Auckland. Thai for dinner, only £6 for a green curry and now it's bed time for me.
