My first and last day in Wellington has come to an end. I arrived yesterday at 8.30. So just found my hostel and went to sleep . It's an improvement over the last one and is just like student accommodation. The national museum is in Wellington, called te papa. It's huge, 5 floors filled with different types of exhibits. Yesterday was a lazy day and I pretty much done nothing but read. I was reading the greatest show on earth, which I finished and I'm now reading the god delusion both are by Richard Dawkins. They are both extremely interesting and well worth reading. Today I was supposed to be on my way to Wellington. That was before the complete s*** manager forgot and left. Leaving the reception shut, where my bags were being kept. I now have to spend another night here, joy!!...

I have just finished the tongario alpine crossing. My legs are killing me. The weather wasn't that good which is a shame because it obscured the views from the tops of the mountains. And also made it extremely scary as it felt like gale force winds trying to force you back, especially bad when walking the narrow ledges. Well there's not much I can say about turangi other than it's s***. It's just a really crappy chav town. And too top it off it's my first bad hostel, absolute dump. Whole area reminds me a little of a Texas chainsaw massacre town. And there's dogs just wandering about everywhere. Nothing else to say, I've not done anything because there's nothing to do.

The dive was awesome, and not very scary to be honest. I found some of the coasters more scary in la. Whoever reckons it's like flying is wrong in my opinion. I doubt birds ears start to hurt because they've got strong wind hitting them in the face as a result of falling 200 km/h. It is an extremely odd sensation and it is very very difficult to breath.
