Welcome to my Blog about South Korea

My name is A. I live in America, and attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I will be studying abroad in Seoul, South Korea for a year starting this August!!! I cannot tell you how excited I am. I am also a bit nervous, mostly because I don't speak the language, but also because I am trying to do all of the last part of the planning for study abroad. I need to book a ticket, get my visa, plan my classes to make sure I graduate on time, etc. So I am sure some of you are in the same boat, and I'll let you know how I will get this all figured out. I will post some pictures of my city for you.

I will be living in a dorm overseas and I hope to experience the average Korean student's life while I am there. I would love to learn Korean as much as is possible in a year, I already speak Russian and French, but unfortunately they are not at all close to Korean ;). Also, in Korea the winter break is very long, so I am planning on traveling during my vacation, as much as possible. I want to travel to Thailand, Japan, China, anywhere really. I'll make sure to take lots of pictures and videos to share with you. If you have any questions, just ask me.
