As today was our last full day in Koh Samui, we both decided to do something different, so suprise suprise we decided to relax on the beach. This morning started like all good mornings start, with a good old near death experience! As we had very few clean clothes left to wear, the first thing we did was go to get our laundry back. However on the way to the shop, we walked under a huge palm tree and literally 2 seconds after we walked under it there was a huge thud behind us. We both looked back and saw that a huge (bigger than Dave!) palm leaf had fallen to earth landing just inches from our heels....

Today we decided to venture out from Bophut and take a look at Chaweng Beach, the largest beach and town on Koh Samui. We hailed down a songtheaw which we only had to share with another 2 people and got to Chaweng beach in about 20 minutes. This morning we decided to have a little lie in as we had a stressful day yesterday, made worse by the dreadful Thai trance music which went on until god-knows what time keeping me awake.
