I was really excited to go lone pine koala sanctuary as I have always wanted to see koalas and kangaroos throughout my life growing up with stories told by my father who had been to the koala lone pine sanctuary in the year of 1999. We all got the bus from queen bus station after stopping at tourist centre to gather information about how to get there etc. On the bus we went over the bridge which I thought was really picturesque to see because the river was gleaming with the sun reflecting it, I certainly took couple of pictures to show family back home. It took 45 minutes to the lone pine koala sanctuary, I was more engrossed with the rural outback style with all these Australian homes which was mostly bungalows, anyway we arrived and I stood next to the entrance with a quote saying "you will never be lonely with these beautiful animals" I was more happier to discover there was a discount for students with a proof of ID so I only paid 20 dollars, unfortunately dominic forgot to bring his ID and Charlene had a youth card but was not accepted seeing that she isn't a student. They had to pay 30 dollars, we went straight to koala enclosure to see furry grey koalas! I decided to buy a deal of 39 dollars for three photos with a baby crocodile, a snake and koala. Ashley and Asher followed but Charlene and Dominic declined preferring one photo with the koala. Firstly three of us had pictures taken with the snake which I thought was cool seeing the the snake wanting to go under my top and rested it's head on my stomach! I felt a bit uneasy when the snake did that haha, then the baby crocodile was next, it has it's mouth taped shut to prevent it from biting us. It felt a bit weird when I held the cute baby crocodile because it was scaly with sharp edged body but it was lovely to touch a baby crocodile for an experience! We altogether took turns to hold a koala as all of photos taken was in same place called the photo booth. The koala I held was totally beautiful with it's paws clutching my shoulders looking at me' directly. It felt like a baby but a furry one! :-P next stop was buying kangaroo food to feed the kangaroos, we went in the kangaroos enclosure which was a big field with all natural things such as trees and huts for the kangaroos to have some kind of shade. The moment I walked in, there was two kangaroos jumping towards me' knowing I had some food for them! One grey kangaroo had it's claws sandwiched between my hands and wouldn't let go! Asher took a beautiful picture of me' with the kangaroo gazing at each other :-) I will never forget the feelings and memories I gathered that day holding these unique animals.
