I woke up feeling a bit rough because i had a sore stomach regardless, i got ready and we all went to Beijing zoo, we were amazed to see that it would only cost us 20 yuan equals 2 pounds which was well cheap. We went straight to the panda house as it was our main reason for going to the zoo in the first place! The adorable pandas looked amazing because it was unique and they looked beautiful with their patched black and white fur! I joked that Asher could fall down in the panda enclosure and probably manage to not to get eaten seeing that he had a white patch too so the pandas could mistake him as one of them, he laughed sarcastically. :-) we continued to browse around the beijing zoo, I saw some rare animals such as White Siberian tiger. I saw a gristly brown bear and I was surprised when a Chinese man threw his water bottle to the bear and it opened the bottle by it's hands and drank the bottle from mouth just like humans! I felt a bit sorry for the bear because it seemed to be dehydrated. The zoo was fantastic for a day out but I don't think they look after the animals properly as there was no trees or shade for the bear to hide from the warm sun shining down. Afterwards we were going to go to the bird nest olympics but I didn't eat anything all day after a sore stomach so I decided to rest and have something to eat back at the hostel, I intended to go by myself from the zoo to hostel but as the group knew I was stubborn, they let me' think I was going by myself, we were on subway and their stop was approaching, and they got off but Asher stayed behind with me', I told him to go but he refused. I felt guilty for deciding not to go to bird nest, He said no, he wouldn't let me' go by myself and he revealed that when I told them I didn't want to go, they plotted it all along knowing fully well that Asher was going to be with me'. A cunning group! Me and Asher just chilled at the hostel, it was lovely to spend time with each other and we played games. We waited for Ashley, Dominic and Charlene to come back, at 10pm they finally arrived after explaining that the subway was hectic. Afterwards we just relaxed and I drank my English milk tea while the lads had a pint!
