Had to go back to the visa centre this morning to collect our passports so we hired a cab to take us all the way so we didn't lose the whole day. Got back by 11:00 and collected crampons (for the ice) and sticks (to fight off the monkeys) before getting the bus to the top of Mount Emei. When we arrived we could barely see a metre in front of us it was so foggy. Did a short trek up to a temple and saw one monkey, then decided there was no time to do anything more and headed back. It was a shame we didn't have more time as it would have been nice to stay up there and spend some more time exploring. Back in the town we found a market place and had hotpot for dinner.
