Took a ferry from Koh Lipe to Koh Lanta, it was around 5 hours. The boat was empty so we got a row of seats each. Didn't feel sea sick this time luckily, but it was pretty choppy as it was raining. Arrived in Koh Lanta around 4pm. Met by the usual swarm of taxi/ tuk tuk drivers asking you where you are going. Told the hotel we wanted and they quoted us 600tbht. We thought this seemed expensive so went to a restaurant to use wifi and try and find prices for a tuk tuk. The guy hung around us ages then agreed to do it for 500. After a lot of faffing, we got to our hotel. When we met Sam and Lindsey we found out we had been ripped off massively, lesson learnt haha, chels and Sarah made us give him more as they felt sorry for him too!

Koh Lanta is a lot more built up than Koh Lipe and so far doesn't look as beautiful.

Found a room for £3 each, bargain and so much nicer than our last room (Last room had no curtains or bed sheets). Went for a meal at our hotel, restaurant was right on the beach and enjoyed happy hour, £2 cocktails! The staff then did a fire show on the beach, it was insane!! Spent some time at the beach bar and we played DJ for the night. Had a go with the fire batons but they wouldn't let us light them :(.
