We set off into three rivers to see what whitewater rafting trips were available we had just missed one so we headed to the lake which we had passed on the way in, Lake Kaweah we had a picnic at the side of the lake and soaked up the sunshine! It was the warmest it had been so far on our trip! We went back into the village searching some internet suggestions for rafting and stumbled on a set up where they agreed to take us out on a trip for 2 hours down the river! We got kitted up in wetsuits there was only me and kurt there with our guide who was great he was from Peru and gave us a great trip from three rivers down to the lake! Kurt jumped in half way it was absolutely freezing as some mountains still had snow melting into the river! We did some good grade three rapids and enjoyed a sunny trip downstream...
